[12-15 Nov 07] LIRNE.NET participants in the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will include Hernan Galperin from DIRSI, Amy Mahan from LIRNE.NET, and Helani Galpaya from LIRNEasia.
LIRNE.NET researchers will participate in a joint APC, IDRC, LIRNE.NET and UNDP (to be confirmed) workshop entitled, Regulatory Frameworks for Improving Access.
The Internet Governance Forum is run by the IGF Secretariat, as for purpose to support the United Nations Secretary-General in carrying out the mandate from the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) with regard to convening a new forum for multi-stakeholder policy dialogue - the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).LIRNE.NET participants .
