LIRNE coordinator, Amy Mahan will be at a two-day workshop at the University of Southern California for the Investigating the Social and Economic Impact of Public Access to Information and Communication Technologies project. Also known by its shorter title, Impact of Public Access to ICT (IPAI), the initiative is sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC). The project is managed by the telecentre.org program (at IDRC), in partnership with the Center for Information & Society (CIS) at the University of Washington Information School.
