LIRNE.NET/WDR Expert Meeting in Uruguay

From March 7-9 LIRNE.NET and the World Dialogue on Regulation (WDR) held an expert meeting in Montevideo, Uruguay to discuss recently completed research with sector representatives, to share findings and methodologies across regions, and to prepare the next WDR/LIRNE research and dialogue cycle. The meeting brought together some fifty experts, including researchers from the LIRNE centres in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas, other researchers, and representatives from the regulatory community, the private sector and civil society from sixteen countries and all continents. Report from Singapore Expert Forum

 

LIRNEasia logoA WDR Expert Forum was organised by LIRNEasia in association with the Institute of South East Asian Studies ISEAS in Singapore from March 2-3, 2007. The Forum focused on ICT sector and regulatory performance indicators and discussed the issues that NRAs and NSOs face with regards to data collection and definitions. Wireless Opportunities and Solutions

 

The first WDR/LIRNE.NET Expert Forum in the Americas, 7-9 March in Montevideo, Uruguay, brings together members from the international network of LIRNE researchers who will present and discuss current regulatory challenges and opportunities. The theme of the three-day meeting is Wireless Opportunities and Solutions: A Regulatory Perspective.

ICT Sector and Regulatory Performance Indicators

 

LIRNEasia logo A World Dialogue on Regulation (WDR) Expert Forum on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Sector and Regulatory Performance Indicators will be held from March 2-3, 2007 in Singapore. The event is organized by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS), in partnership with LIRNEasia and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada.
